Who am i?

Hi, I’m Donovan Bell, founder of Gamers Vs Mental Health.
I’ve been passionate about video games and gaming technology for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was a young lad, gaming has been more than just a hobby to me — it’s been a source of escape, inspiration, strength, and connection.
Although I enjoyed school and learning, I also experienced bullying growing up, and the effects of that carried on into adult life. Like many people, I’ve had my own struggles with mental health. Through it all, video games became a form of salvation for me.
I found hope in the characters I played and the stories I experienced — characters who faced impossible odds, battled through pain and hardship, and still found a way to rise, fight back, and save the world. That stayed with me. It reminded me that all of us, in our own way, have the power within us to save our own world.
That belief is the reason Gamers Vs Mental Health exists.
This brand was created from a genuine desire to turn that strength into something meaningful — to give back, raise awareness, and support charities that help people rediscover their own fire, their own worth, and the love and beauty within themselves.
Every purchase made here helps make a real difference to someone out there who may be struggling. For me, this is about more than clothing. It’s about community, compassion, and showing fellow gamers that they are never alone in what they’re facing.
Together, we can fight the stigma around mental health — and remind people that even in the darkest moments, there is still strength within them.
